Bangladesh is one of the few countries in the world that enjoys six distinct seasons, each lasting about two months. These are Summer (Grishma), Monsoon (Barsha), Autumn (Sharat), Late Autumn (Hemanta), Winter (Sheet), and Spring (Bashanta). Each season brings its own charm, weather, and cultural significance.
Summer (April-June) comes with intense heat, ripe tropical fruits like mangoes and jackfruits, and the promise of vibrant life. Following it, the Monsoon (June-August) transforms the landscape with lush greenery and heavy rainfall, replenishing rivers and fields.
Next is Autumn (August-October), with clear blue skies and floating white clouds. It’s a time of mild weather and natural beauty. Late Autumn (October-December) marks the harvest season, with golden paddy fields and cool breezes creating a serene ambiance.
Winter (December-February) brings chilly mornings and the taste of traditional sweets like pithas, while Spring (February-April) is celebrated as the most vibrant season. Known as the "king of seasons," spring fills the air with colorful flowers and festivities like Pohela Falgun.
The diversity of these six seasons makes Bangladesh a land of unmatched natural beauty, offering unique experiences for every traveler throughout the year.
